He is a miracle not just of science and technology, but also of love and faith. Six months into their second pregnancy, Lindsay Hedin, received a call that every husband dreads. His wife, Paula, said that she was bleeding severely and needed to go to the hospital immediately. Life Flight was called but poor weather conditions forced a life and death drive from Logan to Ogden. Upon arrival in Ogden, the life of both mother and the unborn baby were in serious jeopardy. Amidst a flurry of activity and intense heartfelt prayer, the decision was made that the only way to save them was to deliver the baby immediately. After medical tests were performed, they discovered that their "miracle baby" had multiple mental disabilities. About a year or two later, Paula and Lindsay found out that Mason had Cerebral Palsy. Mason underwent medical procedures that included multiple blood transfusions while hospitalized and open-heart surgery to repair a valve. This was another miracle in Mason's young life. Mason, now a teenager, struggles, along with his family, to face the challenges that comes with an 18 year old who has the mental capacity of a 2-year-old who cannot communicate. We would like to enhance the lifestyle of Mason and his family by providing them with the means to live as normally as possible. Please contribute anything that you can. Thank you.

The Auto Expo is among the largest car shows in Utah and features local car and motorcycle clubs as well as unique private collections. On Friday, May 21st, the activities start with a pre-event social at Barber Brothers in Spanish Fork. At 5:30 pm, the cars start to cruise from Barber Brothers to Utah Lake State Park and then onto the UVU Automotive compound for live music and a barbeque.

We were happy to see everyone who visited us at the Boat Show at the South Towne Expo Center on Feb. 10 - 13, 2011. Everyone had a fantastic time looking at all the new boats and seeing all of the different vendor's products. Take a look at the pictures below to see some amazing boats.

We want to thank all of you who came out to our 1st annual Trunk or Treat. We had a fantastic showing. This being our first year, we were expecting approximately 200-300 people. For those of you that were there, you would not be surprised to know that over 1,800 people showed up. We had to make a run for candy several times throughout the evening. We all had a great time and rest assured that we will be better prepared for next year. We look forward to seeing you all again.

For the 23rd year, Barber Brothers started the festivities of the Auto & Motorcycle Expo. Fun was had by all who attended. The mix of classic cars and classic oldies provided by JC Hackett from KDYL 1060 AM made it day to remember. Prizes were awarded by Fred and Chuck Barber with special guest, Utah Governor Gary Herbert. Governor Herbert then led the participants to Electric Park at Thanksgiving Point where on May 15th Utah Valley University hosted their 23rd Annual Auto & Motorcycle Expo and Swap Meet. UVU welcomes thousands of spectators and has more than 700 car entries. The Auto Expo is among the largest car shows in Utah and includes local car clubs and unique private collections. In addition to the spectacular cars on display is the largest automotive swap meet in Utah, which draws in people from all over the northwest. All proceeds from the event will be donated to scholarships for auto, diesel and collision repair students at UVU. .

On Sunday, November 1, 2009, Nate went out for a motorcycle ride with a friend/neighbor. During this ride, something happened and Nate was found on the ground next to his bike. After being flown to the U of U hospital by Life Flight. It was discovered that he had broken his neck in two places. Surgery was attempted, but he had a reaction to the anesthesia. The Dr's are giving him little hope of walking again. But Kendall and Nate have the faith to continue trying to prove the Dr's wrong. To make matters worse Kendall was laid off of work just weeks before the accident. They have good insurance, but there are still a lot of bills to be paid. Their home will also probably have to have a major remodel to accommodate a wheelchair.

To help the Brandon family out a fundraiser dinner was set up. All of the proceeds from the fundraiser went directly to the Brandon family to help cover their bills. We want to thank everyone for their prayers and support. .

Every month in the summer, Barber Brothers in Spanish Fork will be having a "Drive-In" style Movie Night. We invite you to bring out the whole family to enjoy dinner and a movie with us. Let us know what movie that you would like to see. Select one from the list below and we will be showing the movie that receives the most votes. .

Our GM Certified Technicians will demonstrate basic vehicle maintenance and repair. They will also be able to answer your vehicle care questions. Lunch will be provided and all participants will receive a Thank You gift. Check back for future dates and times.

This Community Event happens over the Labor Day Weekend in Payson, Utah. People from the surrounding communities look forward to the various events including a carnival and parade. One event that brings out the spirit of neighborly competition is the "Onion Days Ultimate Pig Wrestling Event."

On August 28-29, 2009 the Wind Fest & Energy Expo celebrated it's second year. Last year, over 20,000 people attended the festival. Countless emails, letters, and phone messages have proclaimed it to be one of the best family activities of the summer.
