On August 28-29, 2009 the Wind Fest & Energy Expo celebrated it�s second year. Last year, over 20,000 people attended the festival. Countless emails, letters, and phone messages have proclaimed it to be one of the best family activities of the summer. It is also the 1st Anniversary of the first commercial grade Wind Farm in Utah (the nine turbines you can see at the mouth of Spanish Fork canyon). This Festival is all about bringing education together with wonderful entertainment (edutainment) to help families improve their living and playing skills with products that are both renewable and sustainable. Overlooking the beautiful Utah Valley, this location offers a rare and stunning view over an expansive valley surrounded by snow capped mountains.
